From start to finish the Northern Lights trail is a well-groomed balance of invigorating straight shots to tummy tickling hills, filled with tranquil twists and turns each leading into an inspiring sight of snowy-decorated Aspen, Birch and Pine trees. With a bit of luck you may catch sight of our neighbors the white-tails or foxes, eagles or hawks, and if honored, the elusive timber wolf or black bear passing near by. The Northern Lights Trail connects from the Iron Horse Snowmobile Trail in Iron County which is connected to all of the snowmobile trails in Northeastern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. From the Iron Horse Trail you can fly on the Northern Lights groomed Trail to the Bad River Lodge & Casino Convention Center.
